The 99-step stairway in Seopirang Village, perched on the highest hill in the western part of Tongyeong City, is decorated with murals inspired by the literary works of one of Korea’s most beloved novelists, Pak kyongni.
There is also a piano stairway, where each step is part of a giant piano keyboard. Tongyeonghang Harbor, as seen from Seoporu Pavilion at the top of Seopirang Village, is another superb view.
The area also features a photo zone with "Landscape of the Wharf", a painting by the genius artist, Lee Jung-seob, and a monument of the lyrics to the popular song, "Come Back to Me at Chungmuhang Harbor."
