ISANGYUN Competition

The ISANGYUN Competition is an international music competition established in memory of the esteemed Korean composer Isang Yun(1917-1995), with the aim of promoting international cultural exchanges. Inaugurated in 2003, its primary objective is to recognize and nurture gifted and promising young musicians from across the globe. The competition follows a three-year cycle, encompassing disciplines of cello, piano and violin in rotation. The event takes place annually in November. The year 2023 has been designated for piano. Participation in the competition is open to individuals of all nationalities.
