This bridge is the largest and longest Korean pedestrian bridge connecting islands. The section connecting Yeonhwado with Banhado is a 230 meter long suspension bridge, and the one connecting Banhado with Udo is a 79 meter long truss bridge, spanning a total length of 309 meters.
