Tongyeong Cable Car

The cable cars (1,975m long) are a new special feature from which you can enjoy the magnificent views of the Hallyeosudo Waterways.
There are 48 cable cars with an 8 person capacity that continuously circulate from the lower depot at the Donam Tourist Complex to the upper depot below Mt. Mireuksan peak.
The site of the historical victory of the Great Battle of Hansan and the beautiful scenery of the Hallyeosudo Waterways form a magnificent panoramic view from the Mt. Mireuksan peak from where even Tsusima Island of Japan, Cheonwangbong Peak of Mt.
Jirisan and Dolsando Island of Yeosu can be seen.
